Service Engineer (f/m/d)
1. Establish and optimize local service capability, maintain service operation of LSA, wind crane and other marine products in Australia and New Zealand
2. Implementation of service jobs in high quality and efficiency, and improve reputation of Palfinger Marine in Australia and New Zealand
3. To maintain good relationship with local customers/service partners and to develop the market presence
4. Improve technical communication within APAC region and response time for technical issues in Australia and New Zealand
Your Tasks
1. Focus on wind crane, marine and LSA products project participation and collaboration with local service partner (if any)
- Follow up closely with agent and superintendent to attend service on time upon receipt of mobilization from service coordinator
- Prepare required materials/spares/tools and align with superintendent with rough working plan prior to the commencement of the job
- Undertake the service/commissioning jobs under customer’s request as per industrial requirement and maker guideline to deliver the service in high-quality and effeciently
- Align with service coordinator/sales manager and superintendent for any defects found during service execution and find out solution to rectify
- Provide accurate measurement on site in order to help spares team to identify spares specification if required
- Write service report and checklist correctly, issue certificate and any other required documents properly
- Alignment with Area sales manager and superintendet for any work plan in collabration with local service partner when needed
2. Support Wind crane and other marine product-line service activities in Australia and New Zealand
3. Improve technical communication within APAC marine
4. Enhance technical response time, involvement and control in Australia and New Zealand
5. Improve PM reputation and awareness for customers in Australia and New Zealand so as to develop market presence
6. Maintain good management and control of service operation in Australia and New Zealand
7. Other ad-hoc projects as required
Your Qualification
• Good Academic Qualification from Technical School/College
• Good knowledge of marine, offshore , maritime industry and LSA service/commissioning
• Skills in troubleshooting of electrical and hydraulic system
• Good communication skills in English
• Willing to travel frequently
• Willing to work in overtime and weekend, public holiday
• Basic computer skills and knowledge in MS office (excel, powerpoint)
