Spares Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the Spares Department to ensure smooth operations so that it can meet the departmental and organizational KPIs.
Your Tasks
Revenue Accountability
• Define and manage Spares Department KPIs
• Manage product price strategy for Spare Parts
• Monitoring and optimizing procurement, sales order, and other relevant KPIs
Managing Spares Department
• Responsible for planning, directing and overseeing the Spares Department
• Managing efficient preparation, coordination and execution of Spare Parts Sales Order
• Ensure the department operates in compliance with established guidelines and procedures
Technical Knowledge
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of industry standards and practices as well as Company’s products and services
• Provide 1st line of technical support to the Spares team and customers
Stakeholder Relationship
• Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers and third party vendors
Your Qualification
• Diploma/Degree qualifications or equivalent in any discipline (preferably with engineering or technical background)
• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in spare parts coordination and procurement
• Previous working experiences in Marine and offshore industry preferred
• Familiar with using CRM database systems or equivalent (e.g. SAP)
• Computer literate with good MS Office skills in word, excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Effective communicator and team player
• Ability to lead and manage a team
