The power of off-raod in the Vercors Regional Nature Park

With the PALFINGER P130 A, it is working alongside the Territoire d'Energies de l'Isère, to renovate the power cables in Gresse en Vercors, in the commune of Trieves, within the prestigious Parc Naturel Régional du Vercors.
Agility and safety on steep terrain
Citeos Grenoble chose to entrust this delicate task to two of its most experienced operators: Lilian and Julian. Both have long experience of working on power lines, even in rugged terrain like that of the Alps.
"The challenge we faced was reaching the area where the power line was located," comments Lilian. "Between the rain and the particularly steep terrain, it wasn't at all easy to intervene and change the cables on the lines operated by Enedis," Julian continues.
"PALFINGER's P130 A met our needs, and thanks to the installation on the Ford Ranger, access to the most remote and inaccessible areas became possible with a cherry picker, and therefore in complete safety", the two operators add.
What's more, thanks to the specific front stabilizers, the positioning of the aerial platform was particularly effective despite the sloping terrain.
Julian and Lilian, who often work in alpine areas, particularly appreciate the P 130 A for its speed of installation, ease of use and total reliability. "It's a simple aerial platform with fully hydraulic controls that react quickly. The arm system with the telescopic boom is perfectly reliable and allows us to work in complete safety - we really like it!
