Production Supervisor

As the Production Supervisor, you will lead a team in manufacturing world-class truck equipment and collaborate with other supervisors to ensure timely part deliveries and schedule attainment. As a key leader, you will work closely with all departments to effectively manage the production line and drive sustainable results through continuous employee development. Reporting to the Production Manager, this role offers a competitive compensation package and exciting opportunities for career growth.
Your Responsibilities
- Train, coach, and mentor production line employees to ensure peak performance and development.
- Manage shift schedules, including workstation assignments, training, vacations, overtime, and supervisor backup.
- Track and report daily and weekly production KPIs, recommending and implementing process improvements to meet targets.
- Lead LEAN Manufacturing and 5S initiatives in collaboration with local PPS and IE resources to enhance operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement through project management and fostering a culture of manufacturing excellence
Your Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; college education preferred.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a durable-goods manufacturing environment, with proven leadership ability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word); SAP and LEAN Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, including technical reading and writing; bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
- Ability to train and mentor employees at all levels, from shop floor staff to regional management teams.
