Production Mechanic

Palfinger USA, LLC is currently seeking Production Mechanic in the Forest Park, GA area. The candidate will have experience in automotive or Class 8 truck repair. This position reports to the Shop Foreman.

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform general assembly on truck bodies, cranes, and bodies,
  • Participant in the care and upkeep of the shop and all equipment and tools,
  • Installation of various accessories and components (toolboxes, lights, vices, and cranes),
  • Work effectively within a team and individually, 
  • Work with team (Production, Engineering) to troubleshoot any mechanical, body, or electrical issues. Training will be provided for troubleshooting,
  • All other duties as assigned,
  • Be able to work overtime as needed.

Your Qualifications

  • Proficiency in 12V or 24V wiring (some experience preferred), must be mechanically inclined (6 – 12 months preferred), be able to use and read tape measure,
  • Basic math skills,
  • Must supply some tools,
  • Must be physically able to work in all weather conditions, must be able sit, stand, bend, squat, crouch, reach and lift 10-50 pounds periodically,
  • Must be a team player,
  • Must speak, read and write English.
  • PALFINGER proprietary tools will be provided.
