Palfinger USA, LLC is looking for a Shop Foreman for our facility in Forest Park, GA. Our address is 5178 Old Dixie HWY, Forest Park, GA 30297. This is an onsite position that reports to the Multi-Site Manager in our Division Headquarters located in Tiffin, OH.

Your Responsibilities:

Supervise the operations of the Production Department with an aim for high performance by providing direction to the team while prioritizing workflow to meet customer demand. Oversee employee training to increase production, enhance safe operations, and ensure profitability.
Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring compliance to all safety policies and inspections.
Manage the upfitting of knuckle-boom, roofing, and drywall cranes to truck chassis. Manufacturing processes include but are not limited to painting, cutting, welding, fabricating, wiring, and assembly operations. Evaluate production processes to maintain optimum efficiency.
Ensure customer quality by inspecting & testing all products for adherence to manufacturing standards and order accuracy prior to shipment.
Ensure the flow of resources such as raw materials are maintained and that production items are delivered as needed for proper and efficient use.
Maintain communication between management and employees to ensure that necessary policies are understood and followed.
Responsible for implementing disciplinary actions for assigned employees to ensure policy adherence. Maintain employee timecard and attendance for payroll purposes.
All other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications:

Associate degree preferred; HS Diploma/GED required. 7-10 years’ experience in manufacturing environment. 2-3 year’s supervisory experience.
Firm understanding of safety regulations including but not limited to OSHA rules and regulations. Ability to read a Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
Ability to create and adhere to effective schedules. Ability to complete written reports legibly and accurately.
Strong organizational and leadership skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Sharp production focus with a drive for accurate results. Ability to logically troubleshoot issues with upfitting, including but not limited to mechanical and electrical issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution attributes.
Flexible to work long hours as required to meet project deadlines.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
