True Crane Body — 86,000 ft. lbs.
The PAL Pro 86 14' mechanics body is heavy-duty yet lightweight and rated to support PALFINGER's 14,000 lb crane model with dual extending rear hydraulic outriggers for 100% stability in all lifting zones. Like all of our PAL Pro Mechanics Bodies, it's also built with all A-60 galvanneal steel and features 2-piece steel doors with 316 marine grade stainless steel hinges.
Built for our largest crane
PAL Pro 86 is manufactured using 12-gauge A-60 galvanneal steel and features a full-length hybrid torsion box understructure that eliminates frame and side pack deflection. Combined with integrated dual extending rear outriggers and front extending stabilizer, load stability is maximized and stress on the chassis frame is reduced.
PAL Pro 86 features a 86,000 ft. lbs. crane reinforcement designed to accommodate our largest 14,000 lb. capacity PSC 14029 service crane.
Optimized for compartment loads
PAL Pro 86 is designed to provide maximum support for compartment loads and more usable storage capacity. Tubular 3” x 5” and 4" x 6" structural steel crossmembers interlaced into the body's understructure and internal gussets on every raised compartment provide a rigid body for storage of equipment, tools, and accessories.
Ready for top mounted accessories
Threaded weldment options available from the factory make installing top mounted accessories easy. Boom rest, welder, compressor, EnPak, Air-n-Arc and AirPak mounts eliminate the need to drill holes in the body.
Compartment doors built to last
PAL Pro 86 features double panel doors that provide rigid performance with internal C-channel stiffeners adhered with structural adhesive. Compartment doors are equipped with corrosion resistant full length 316 marine grade stainless steel hinges, whale tail handles, and 3-point locking latches standard.
Zolatone interior compartment coating
Interior compartments on the PAL Pro 86 are coated with Zolatone to resist damage commonly caused by tools, chains, and parts. Zolatone provides an additional layer of rust protection and as an added bonus, the coating is white in color and helps to brighten up the interior.
A true mechanics work bench
PAL Pro 86 features a standard 30" deep work bench bumper designed to provide technicians with a useable work surface for field repairs, welding, and more. Each bumper features a 5/16" steel top plate and thru-compartment for internal storage of long tools and chains.
Integrated Hitch Receiver
PAL Pro 86 bumpers come standard with a 2" class 5 receiver tube hitch rated for 16,000 lbs. of towing capacity. 15-ton pintle reinforcement plate included.
