Junior Accounting Specialist with German (f/m/d)

For our Global Business Services Center, situated in Sofia, we are looking for an initiative, detail-oriented person with excellent analytical skills at the position: Junior Accounting Specialist with German (f/m/d)

Vos missions

  • Responsible for daily Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable transactions in accounting processes;
  • Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records, including detailed financial business transactions; 
  • Participate in invoicing, booking of bank statements and reconciliations; 
  • Update accounts payable and accounts receivable output/input accounting data in SAP;
  • Correctly record daily accounting operations and match daily incoming cash, received by bank to total posted;
  • Check the data according to the defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs);
  • Manage payable/receivable accounts, monitor payment status, and follow up on overdue invoices;
  • Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms;
  • Provide customer service to internal clients, suppliers and customers;
  • Support senior accountants in the team with month and year-end closing.

Votre qualification

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance;
  • Previous experience in a similar position – will be an advantage;
  • Knowledge of accounting, controlling and reporting standards;
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, especially SAP, is a plus;
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office /Excel/;
  • Very good analytical, organizational and communication skills;
  • Working level of German & English – written and spoken.
