PALFINGER is hiring a hands-on Quality Manager to join our Operations Leadership Team at our Niagara Falls, ON facility. In this key role, you’ll lead the plant quality function, driving both tactical and strategic initiatives in collaboration with plant and regional leadership. Reporting to the Plant Manager with a functional line to the Regional Quality Manager, you’ll play a vital role in upholding PALFINGER’s high standards for performance and reliability.

Your Responsibilties

  • Lead plant quality efforts by analyzing data, driving root cause investigations, and implementing preventive actions to ensure continuous improvement and KPI success.
  • Collaborate with production and regional teams on audits, inspections, and risk assessments (FMEAs) to maintain the highest product quality standards.
  • Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections, while managing Material Review Board (MRB) activities and Stop Shipments when necessary.
  • Support and implement key quality systems and tools, including SAP Q-Module, internal audits, inspection plans, and the gage calibration program.
  • Drive standardization by managing local and corporate norms, coordinating training, and ensuring compliance with PALFINGER’s quality requirements and documentation controls.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with 5–10 years of progressive experience in Quality, Operations, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, FMEAs, measurement systems analysis, and blueprint interpretation; SAP experience required.
  • Preferred certifications from ASQ (CMQ/OE, CQE, CSSGB, or CSSBB) and a commitment to continuous improvement and productivity.
  • Excellent communicator with proven leadership and teamwork skills, able to influence across departments and navigate challenging situations.
  • Professional, detail-oriented, and adaptable—with the energy and mindset to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment; travel up to 10%.
