We are looking for a Corporate Strategy Manager (f/m/d) to strengthen our team in Bergheim (Salzburg). The Corporate Strategy Manager works closely with PALFINGER Leadership and the Corporate Development & Sustainability Team in the planning and implementing of the PALFINGER Corporate Strategy as well as cross-functional strategic programs and projects. A focus will be on the strategic planning process and especially the orchestration of context analysis and market intelligence (including competitor analysis).

Your Responsibilites

  • Contribute to the definition and orchestration of the strategic planning process 

  • Define and orchestrate context analysis process, in close collaboration with sales, PLM, finance and collect and process relevant data for strategic planning
  • Analyze existing processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement
  • Support definition and implementation of strategic programs and projects based on defined objectives
  • Lead projects in the context of the implementation of the group strategy
  • Establish monitoring and reporting of financial/non-financial performance in our strategy execution and identify areas for optimization
  • Define concept/method for competitor analysis & PALFINGER; orchestrate data gathering and consolidation from all relevant sources 
  • Drive internal dialogue on competitor data and feed findings into strategic planning process

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master in commercial or technical field

  • 4-6 years of relevant professional experience (project management), ideally in an international environment or in consulting
  • Experience in strategic planning and strategy implementation
  • Project Management qualification/certification, ideally based on PMI
  • Experience in change management and organizational transformation of advantage 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, well-organized and structured 
  • Strong networker and communicator, who understands how to persuade peers and manage stakeholders, able to develop valuable long-term partnerships 
  • Strong communicator, knows how to translate, communicate, and disseminate complex issues to different target audiences from board level to the shop-floor
  • Fluent German and English

Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 52.197,04 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
